Zinnia Sheikh is a TV Commercial & Film Producer based in United Kingdom. She has over 17 years of working experience; as a producer she started to work in several TV commercials with different Asian, European, American production companies and agencies for filming for diverse & multicultural clients in USA, UK, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Pakistan, India and Bangkok etc.
She has worked for several International agencies and production company: Mullen Lowe & Rauf Group, Orient McCann, Ogilvy & Mather, Red Communication & Arts, Firecracker, Red Chilli Films – Malaysia, Making Name Films – Indonesia, Bene tone Films – Thailand, Myriad Global Media – UK etc.
She is one of the lead producer of renowned brands: Nestle Milo, Nido, Maggi, Nesfruta, Everyday, Pure Life, Fruita Vitals, 7up, Sprite, Pepsi, Dasani, Etisalat etc.
She’s also involved in Feature films & Feature length documentary projects.
Her full-length feature category was a US-Pakistan co-production of a feature documentary “Without Shepherds”which had its world premiere at Slamdance in 2013 and is being sold worldwide by Roco Films.
She was part of core team for Pakistan’s first road trip thriller feature film “Dukhtar”, the film had it’s world premiere at prestigious Toronto International Film Festivalfollowed by its release in Pakistan. New York Premiere at South Asian International Film Festival, She presents her film “Dukhtar” in India premiere at Banguluru International Film Festival. The film nominated for Cinema for Peace Gala and screening at “Berlinale”. The film gets tremendous response and travels in more than 20 countries. Dukhtar was the first Pakistani film released in Japan in March 2017. Dukhtar become Pakistan’s Official Submission for Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards. The Film is available on Amazon Prime & Apple TV.
She managed Hollywood Movie shoot spell in Pakistan and hired by UK based Production house for the feature film “The Wedding Guest”. It had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2018.Shortly after, IFC Films acquired distribution rights to the film. The film was nominated at Palm Springs International Film Festival. The film is available on Netflix.
